What is EZ-LOAD®?

E-Z LOAD® is another one of Contech’s revolutions in dispenser coils. Medical grade, poly-alloy blended material offers increased lubricity, reduces labor cost, and allows faster wire loading for vascular procedures when using spiral wound guidewire dispensers.

The Series CPS62000 consists of an outer layer made of medical grade high density polyethylene and an inner layer made of a medical grade silicone-like polymer which reduces the coefficient of friction, resulting in easier insertion, especially in precoiled dispensers. The product is designed primarily for guidewire dispensers.

The tubing houses the stainless steel or nitinol wires used in angioplasty, stent and other vascular procedures. The more lubricious the inner core of this tubing is, the smoother and faster the guidewire is able to move through it.

• E-Z LOAD® Series CPS62000 complies with FDA regulation 21-CFR and is gamma and ETO sterilizable.
• Food contact: E-Z LOAD® Series CPS62000 is suitable for use as a slip or release agent in the production of the basic polymer or finished food contact article in compliance with US FDA regulation 21 CPR
• 177.1520. The olefin polymer portion of E-Z LOAD® Series CPS62000 complies with 177.1520 and the silicone portion complies with 181.28.
